Rachel & Dan Get Married!

This past weekend we traveled to Chicago for Rachel and Dan's wedding. The ceremony was short and sweet and the reception was super fun! Rachel looked beautiful! We started the weekend by heading to Chicago Friday morning. After putting Conor to bed Ryan and I were able to go out to Dave & Buster's with the Westenkirchner cousins for some fun. Thanks to my mom and dad for hanging out at the hotel while Conor slept. This was the first time we have gone out (besides to the grocery store or target) since Conor was born. The food, drinks, games, and company were awesome :-)

Saturday we swam in the morning, went to IKEA in the afternoon and attended the wedding at 4:30. It was so great having the wedding venue connected to the hotel. This made it so easy and relaxing! I had tons of fun with family and I wish we all lived closer together. Thanks to Ryan for staying with Conor I was able to dance and hang out with the Westenkirchners. We had a great time and the dance floor take over was nothing short of amazing.

reception outfit (don't worry it's not actually a full tux-it's a cotton one-piece)

Conor did great the entire trip. We turned around his car seat (just 2 weeks early). He loved the view and was mesmerized the entire way there. The way home was a little rough for him, but he was a trooper through it all. He had a great time pushing around his new trucks (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa!) on the dance floor while everyone ate. His tuxedo one-piece was a huge hit :-) I didn't get a great picture, but my Aunt Robby did (if you're reading this, Aunt Robby can you e-mail it to me?). He never cried through that whole busy day!

On to the little guy's birthday next...I can't believe it's only 10 days away!

Remember-comments keep me blogging :-)

Awwww, such sweet pics! We had so much fun with everyone and it seems Conor did too! Wasn't too afraid of anybody and he enjoyed zooming around the reception hall on all fours so much.....Thanks for spending the weekend with us and the family. Love you all!

So much fun. I love that last picture of Conor in his tux, all he needs is a baton and he looks like he could be conducting an orchestra.

Love,
