I feel like the worst blogger in the world. I just looked at this and realized it's been a little over 2 months since I posted! I promise not to blab and just hit the highlights of the past 2 months.
August: We wrapped up summer with running, playing at the park, and visiting with family. The last 2 weeks of summer were spent preparing for the new school year...and my new job. I had to unload my boxes where they were and decided what was coming with me the board office. I started my new position with hesitance and thought it very awkward to work at an office. I can't even really articulate where August went...it seemed to fly by!

September: Conor did well transitioning back to Cheryl's and I began to understand my job, its roles, and how to work in an office setting. It's still weird, but I get out to schools often. We traveled to Cincinnati one day to celebrate Caleb's 1st birthday. Very hot...but lots of fun! Rocket football started back up and while Ryan and I have made it to a couple of games, Conor has yet to go. His first this season will be next week. The schedule is a bit different this year and has prevented tailgating (boo). Conor had his 18 month check up (where we were told he is too skinny-don't get me started-he's fine) and did great getting his shot. We spent a day at the zoo with the DiLorenzo's, which was long overdue. We had a great time and it was fun to watch the boys interact. Conor loved the ant tunnel and brushing the goats. He probably would have sat next to a certain lazy goat all day if we had let him.
happy birthday, caleb!
conor and mason thoroughly enjoyed these turtles at the zoo :-)

Conor: He loves to babble on and on and seems to learn a new word everyday...if not 2-3 new words. He just learned to stack block on his own so he can promptly knock them over with a resounding "DOOOOOO" (which rhymes with go). He loves playing outside with his lawn mower and ride on toys. He has recently learned to say "bike" and points them out wherever he sees one. He also can hear a plane about 10 seconds before anyone else and makes sure everybody looks at "uh pwane". We have been working on the fight song and he loves to participate in "Fight, fight, fight", "Let's go Blue" and fighting just like our ancest-ors.
I hope this catches everyone up! I will try and stay on top of these as fall (my favorite season) begins. Enjoy your weekend, GO ROCKETS!, and leave comments! :-)
